Dr. Nic Dodson is from Valdosta, Georgia and currently resides in Hahira. Dr. Dodson earned a baseball scholarship at Georgia Southern University where he was a pitcher and third baseman. He later moved home and completed his undergraduate education at Valdosta State University. He then earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University – College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. From there, he completed a three-year surgical residency at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. While in residency, Dr. Dodson served as chief resident in charge of the Foot & Ankle Surgery service, specializing in trauma and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Dodson is currently a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and is board certified in reconstructive rear foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgery.
Dr. Dodson treats all aspects of the foot and ankle, but has special interests in trauma, flat foot reconstruction, and diabetes related foot and ankle conditions.
Dr. Dodson loves to watch sports with his family and is a passionate fan of University of Alabama football.
