Sterling Physician Group provides ear, nose and throat services through our Otolaryngology department. Otolaryngology is commonly referred to as Ear, Nose, and Throat or ENT and this medical specialty that dates back to the 19th century. From pediatric to senior adults, Sterling Physician Center has the skills and resources to address all of your ENT needs.

Hearing loss and other ear function impairments can be as common as an ear infection or extensive as congenital disorders of the outer or inner ear. Our ENT specialists will evaluate and treat your ear issues including balance disorders, ear noise (tinnitus), nerve pain, and facial and cranial nerve disorders, as well as provide information on how to protect your hearing.

Our ENT physicians diagnose, manage and treat allergies, sinusitis, smell disorders, polyps, and nasal obstruction due to a deviated septum. Home plans may be created to relieve many allergy-related symptoms at home, but our specialists will also provide more extensive care depending on your diagnosis.

Throat and Mouth

Throat and mouth challenges can be minor or serious, but should never be ignored. Whether you are experiencing tonsillitis or difficulty swallowing, our ENT physicians will diagnosis the issue and provide the best practice treatment to improve or correct the condition.

Otolaryngologists are specifically trained in head and neck surgeries and our ENTs are current in the latest surgical advancements. These procedures are becoming less invasive every day and can address a wide range of issues from cleft palate to deafness and reconstructive surgeries.

ENTs are your first line of defense in cancers of the head and neck, and screening plus early detection are critical to preventing fatal outcomes. These cancers can be very aggressive so you should be aware of common signs such as pain, changes in the skin, prolonged hoarseness and sudden loss of voice. If you experience any of these symptoms, immediately contact our ENT department.

Children often face the same head and neck issues as adult, but symptoms are often different and treatments must be modified for the pediatric population. Our ENT specialists understand the unique needs of children and can quickly identify common pediatric ENT, head and neck ailments such as tonsillitis and ear infections. Our doctors present the best treatment options and deliver the highest quality course of care.
